The Requirement
The BSB Championship is the premier motorcycle racing championship not only in the United Kingdom but probably the best national championship in the World. Rounds are run across the country at iconic venues such as Brands Hatch and Donington Park.
The Race Direction team manages judicial matters for the numerous championships that are competed within British Superbikes. Previously these were managed using a combination of systems on individual computers. Penalties had to be tracked manually and other stakeholders had no access.
A centralised web-portal was needed to give Race Direction and other parties access to relevant data. Documents need to be printed and signed by Competitors and Teams.
The Solution
Max Impact developed a bespoke system using the very latest Microsoft .NET systems. The system is always accessible to the Race Director and his team. It allows the team to instantly see current status of penalties, penalty points and warnings that have been given to competitors. Their history is always visible and statistics can be seen.
Previous data was loaded so that the system was completely ready for use from the start of the season. Importantly, with just a few simple inputs, the system produces PDF outputs that can be printed and stored.
